I’ve taken this to mean no matter how dark things feel there is always a sliver of light to be found that will guide us out of complete darkness. Which I think is true. No matter how sad I’ve ever been a light has always been at my back. Lovely write despite my humble attempt at molding it for my own purposes. H🌷

I was watching Godfather of Harlem last night, which also featured Malcom X and the muslim leader The Honorable Elijah Mohammed. And I was thinking, a man who requires such lofty titles be leveled at him at all times, is not humble and a man who is not humble is not spiritual. But that quality is in your writing. It is not pretentious, it does not have agendas or resentments, it opens a door into deeper perspective. 💖🎶🙏
