UNstereotypeD

I'm not lost,
I am native to every place i never belonged
From the straying my beingness draws direction

I'm not unbound,
I'm a slave to the constraints of your prejudice and twisted sense of me
In consenting this bondage I've forged freedom to just be

I'm not broken,
I was pieced together this way
In accepting this reality I've traced wholeness within

I'm not hated,
I'm just loved to depths so bottomless some are too afraid to dive in
In embracing this blessing I spark love within myself

I'm not unfriendly,
I am simply rendering as much friendship to you as you are to me,
In this construct I find the right to be not so friendly at times

I'm not in search,
I'm trying to not track down things i never owned,
In owning nothing I have all I never knew I needed

I'm not on a journey,
I am my own destination, shall never need to arrive, I'm already here
In me, I've created shelter warm enough to call myself home.
