Upon My Grave (I Leave My Final Resignation)
I have never found a path to love
That didn't somehow end in pain
Nor a garden green enough to plant loves seed
That produces anything except for weeds
I have never known a love that's true & inspiring
One that's not just a part of my life's journey
Surpassing all and ends up as my destination
So I say good bye to love and upon my grave I leave
My final resignation....

Sadly, I've discovered that it is entirely possible to become addicted to both romance as well as emotional pain and as a result of it continuously make horribly wrong choices when it comes to matters of the heart.

Well if you don’t speak the plain truth here! How well you write an extremely relatable life experience. Over and over and over oh! and over in my case.
I’m horribly sorry if this write is a current personal situation and wish any pain to be of short duration. However, you speak right to the core of the matter and the heart here for so many of us. H🌷

Dear H! I'm both humbled and honored by your wonderful remarks. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your kindness and appreciation. To be honest, I still haven't found what I've been looking for but rest assured I am not suicidal just a bit sad is all.

Totally get it. I’m a little sad most days myself. Tomorrow is a new day though and I’m convinced we’re both going to find something cool to either appreciate or laugh at. 😊
