Shadows and sorrow and whatnots
Shadows still
In the corners of my eyes
Make tears
I did all I could
To deny
They’re warm there
I can feel the contrast
Of their heat
On the cold of my cheeks
Crimson peaks see
The sun as it comes
Rising up over blue and green
Mountain tops
Suffering there
Stillness there
The shadows there
Blew the wind through my arms
Took the harm from my hands
Stole sorrow from my heart
Painted me into dawn
In the corners of my eyes
Make tears
I did all I could
To deny
They’re warm there
I can feel the contrast
Of their heat
On the cold of my cheeks
Crimson peaks see
The sun as it comes
Rising up over blue and green
Mountain tops
Suffering there
Stillness there
The shadows there
Blew the wind through my arms
Took the harm from my hands
Stole sorrow from my heart
Painted me into dawn
