ice cream
murder is a blue
fish with yellow
stripes swimming
in a green sea
murder is the
sound heard
between the
crunches of
eating cereal
the quiet murder of
moments on a lazy
August afternoon
the tired eyes of murder
lying next to you in a
love gone sterile
murder in the velvet
mouth of the news
murder in the shaking
hands of the artist
murder in a Hanoi
whorehouse
murder under our
noses,
murder far afield
murder of the American
dream
murder:
hideous/beautiful,
monstrous/ heroic,
infamous/famous
the murder of centuries
all bleed together in
this moment
don't look
away
all this beauty
a masterpiece of
our own
design

The point is that there is no point. Man, when left to his own devices will remove the screws that hold the mechanism together every damn time, then bitch that the machine will no longer work.
