Protect
When the sun shines blind from the ancient sky
And the wind blows keen from the northern Sea
Or the rain weeps down from the big black cloud
I will protect you
When an angry crowd shouts your name out loud
Or Demons creep when your sound asleep
Or the devil walks into your thoughts
I will protect you
When strangers stare with an unwelcome air
Or you’ve split your sail in a Force ten gale
Or when you feel scared from tales you’ve heard
I will protect you
When monsters smile with you on their mind
And if curses slip from witches lips
And when darkness falls and you scream and call
I will protect you
If your walls that surround you come crumbling down
Or if poison you take cramps your stomach ache
And within your shoes you walk the blues
I will protect you
And the wind blows keen from the northern Sea
Or the rain weeps down from the big black cloud
I will protect you
When an angry crowd shouts your name out loud
Or Demons creep when your sound asleep
Or the devil walks into your thoughts
I will protect you
When strangers stare with an unwelcome air
Or you’ve split your sail in a Force ten gale
Or when you feel scared from tales you’ve heard
I will protect you
When monsters smile with you on their mind
And if curses slip from witches lips
And when darkness falls and you scream and call
I will protect you
If your walls that surround you come crumbling down
Or if poison you take cramps your stomach ache
And within your shoes you walk the blues
I will protect you
