I'm Rubber and You're Glue
they say I support hate
how can that be true?
when in my heart I know of only love
they try to say my judgement is wrong
but I say 'tis them that is askew
I have eyes and ears that I use
I see a president that was on tape saying
grab them by the pussy
was friends with Epstein
and has multiple sexual assault allegations
even if I liked his policies
I couldn't vote for a guy like that
take away his shit personality
just look around
America is drowning in a pandemic
people are struggling
fires are raging
and Trump pats himself on the back
for doing as little as possible
how could I not vote blue?
it's not like I have tons of choices
either stay on the crazy train
or chance myself with Biden
and hey, he doesn't seem perfect
if the things the right says about him are true
still makes him a lot less disgusting than Trump
least maybe we will go a day
without hearing about some stupid tweet
whenever someone tries to sway my views
I tell them truth is always truth
no matter how it's twisted
they resort to calling me names
like pro pedophilia
pro rape
pro baby killer
what ridiculousness
when it comes to abortions
seriously, not my body
it's the woman's body to choose
and it's a difitcult fucking choice
so how about not shaming those
that have to make such a hard decision
especially woman who've been raped
or have serious medical conditions
though if I do get a say
I say bread isn't bread until it's baked
and if you want to get biblical
even the Bible says
life doesn't start till first breath

I never take things for face value
I look behind the curtain
see the truth for myself

More power to you, DC! This is so deep, real, and pertinent to our current situation right now. I'm not crazy about Biden either, but he's certainly a better choice than Trump. His unwavering cult of followers still baffles me to the core. Nice writing, my friend! I'm right here with you ❤️

He was pretty much my last choice I wanted for the democratic nominee. But I don't think he's a bad person just don't think he's someone that would make any real change. Though still, he wouldn't be actively destroying this country on a daily basis. And yeah, I don't get how people can support Trump. Their arguments usually make no sense.
