Hold on to the rope
Of truth;
A wave rushed in
Then crashed upon a rock
What the eye has seen
The mind remembers
The wave rushed in

It has happened before
The mind remembers seeing
The wave rush in
To crash upon a rock
Even now as it withdraws
Another wave surges forth
To scream and scratch
The surface of the rock
