Surrender - poem 6 of 10 in 'Letters of Affliction'
Racing in unanswered circles,
Exhaustion labors.
I pray to Mother Moon,
Give me guidance.
Wandering among the forgotten,
Searching for true meaning.
I pray to Mother Earth,
Give me solace.
Inquiring in reflection,
The goddess within captive.
I pray to Mother Love,
Give me acceptance.
Swallowing the days,
Governed with hysteria.
I pray to Mother Serenity,
Give me patience.
Ancestral wisdom,
Caressed unto me,
Whispers of one word,
Surrender.
