All Things Earthly and Ethereal
I am divine because I am alive
I am eternal
for all of you remember
and to fear death and to be forgotten
oh the tragedy, it festers!
corrupted wound
do I remember the nights
I stumbled across industrial settlements?
do I forget how my lungs labored?
and feet collapsed?
foot on the gas
as masses feast, their stomachs churn
and the moment sparks to quickly dissipate
forgotten are the breaths I take
and gentle notes sung
the furrowed brows and crooked backs
I sniff, I bite, cough, shudder, shake
rabid, rabid dog
forgotten are these gestures
my bedrock, my constant
now dead, or suffering miserably through endless playbacks
like the neglected wife
watching the game on a Sunday
she spends her time in his muddled world for nothing
I shuffle roughly across cement ground
which bites my feet
October groans
and callously opens one eye
they can see me from above
glowing
and from the ground
humming and swaying
they can see me
I am real
eternal and cyclical
its the unbearable, intoxication of lightness
which proves change constant
and logic irreconcilable with time
