Smiles are the most deceitful expressions of them all.
I smile when I'm happy,
I smile when I'm sad,
I smile when I'm angry,
and I smile when I'm mad.
You see a smile on the outside and instantly think I'm happy,
but external lenses are far too narrow to show what's true.
What if I have tears running down my face on the inside?

This has potential to be something riveting and lasting. It needs more character for that. A comparative could help the smile shine more deceitfully.
