The Arrogance and Stupidity of Patriarchy

I’ve heard men say to me
so patronizingly,
“You’re of the ‘weaker sex’
and therefore your fulfilment lies
in being wed,
and warming up your husband's bed
at any time he needs some pleasuring
no matter what your mood for him
may be,
and then accepting that
your sole divinely destined  role
is one of humble domesticity,
in bearing children,
keeping house
mouse meek, subservient  
unto the whims
and wishes of your spouse”.
 
I say to them,
“Go soak your head
in your  misogyny,
you piss poor patriarchal boobs,
you blinking sods.
The century is now twenty one,
long past the time
to think or claim that you
have any right to say,
declare,
just how and where
a female is to find her happiness,
or judge that she is only half alive
unguided in the world
and doomed to fail,
if she remains a maid,
unmarried and without a man.  
Remember that, as Genesis has said,
a woman’s also formed
to bear, display, the image of
the Lord Yahweh”.
