Insecurities
She wakes up, wishing she never did
goes to the mirror to do her hair
Longing to look like the other kids
Or wishing they wouldnt stare
She tries on all her clothes
from one end of the closet to the other
Becuz she knows nothing will look right
She hates every color
she walks out the door
awaiting this day of school
Cause she knows everdays the same
The kids are always cruel
She starts the school day off sitting alone
Hoping no one notices her
Hoping she can go home
She walks in the hallway
with her head down
because shes different
like no one else around
But actually no one notices
how she tries so hard
how she cries when shes home
how shell wish on ever star
that one day she will wake up
feeling beautiful
not insecure
goes to the mirror to do her hair
Longing to look like the other kids
Or wishing they wouldnt stare
She tries on all her clothes
from one end of the closet to the other
Becuz she knows nothing will look right
She hates every color
she walks out the door
awaiting this day of school
Cause she knows everdays the same
The kids are always cruel
She starts the school day off sitting alone
Hoping no one notices her
Hoping she can go home
She walks in the hallway
with her head down
because shes different
like no one else around
But actually no one notices
how she tries so hard
how she cries when shes home
how shell wish on ever star
that one day she will wake up
feeling beautiful
not insecure
