"If I Said I Missed You, It'd Be Bad For Your Health"

You are made of paper,
Swirling around under a fan.
Iron casting down gates in front,
A Skull made of glass shatters throughout.
Running down a never ending corridor with a door,
Isn't it a way out but everything's a paranoid trick.
It's so hard to breathe caught up in a fantasy like heroes,
Rushing down a path of red and purple back into the hospital.
Something screams inside as the men in white coats hold you down,
Needles piercing into the water balloon that you call a brain so far away.
Just a touch of the flame burning like white horns under a lowly lit house,
The dark gives you such a fright as the ghosts and demons call to you.
Poisoned beyong repair because of the whole world hating just you,
Blood on your sleeve stop giving so much care--you're breaking a rule.
Lowering your eyes as worn feet walk on broken glass for nothing,
Who are you trying to protect my risen friend please tell.
You say that I need help, I know that I do, I do love you,
Love that stings like hornets and the fire burning.
Show us your eyes we can't get enough of them,
Doctors watch your every move don't they?
A mother that screams as a banshee,
Hair sizzling down to the scalp.
Don't let them get you down,
Traveling passengers.
Cheers to you *****,
If only I could--.

As you get well,
I whisper.

I miss you.
