LISTEN TO MY HEART
LISTEN!
My appearance may not
be that of a Hollywood star;
my speech may not be equal
to or like the TV personality.
My education may lack
a large number of degrees;
my finances may not have
a large or impressive bottom line.
My travels may not have
taken me far from home,
my resume may be
limited in extolling my skills.
BUT LISTEN!
Please listen to my heart beat:
It is speaking, saying, "I love,
adore, worship, and need you".
This is the truth and all
I can say or have to say.
