PETRIFY
Every mourn as dawn approaches
I am haunted by yesterday
Feeling the cold grip of destiny
Like the crashing of funeral waves
I feel the walls around your tomb
Closing in
As the skies turn to gray
I see you petrifying
My heart, my queen of stone
As my heart turns so grave
It's so petrifying
Labyrinth of stone
Leads to the hell I crave
I hear the tapping of fingertips
Why are you taunting the depraved?
I can't focus on reality
Going under still so enslaved
I feel the walls around your tomb
Closing in
As the skies turn to gray
I see you petrifying
My heart, my queen of stone
As my heart turns so grave
It's so petrifying
Labyrinth of stone
Leads to the hell I crave
Drifting embers
The flames
Lick at the summit
I remember
The pain
That brought us closer
To suffering
We stain
The world around us
We turn to stone
Today
To rise once again
I feel the walls around your tomb
Closing in
As the skies turn to gray
I see you petrifying
My heart, my queen of stone
As my heart turns so grave
It's so petrifying
Labyrinth of stone
Leads to the hell I crave
