Though, as per Creationists
The world is but
Six thousand years old
And flat on top of that
While dinausors had been
Around and eliminated
Way before (one theory
Of extinction or another)
Did it also perhaps have
On board north american buffaloes?
A land unknown at the time...
Faith goes one way
Truth and science quite
Another.

I like the idea, Faith goes one way, truth and science go another. I go with the stronger, namely, FAITH.

Santa Claus is one of the best memories l have from my childhood, and the childhood of my children. Science gives a lot, but will remain limited forever, whereas all hopes resides in spirituality.

Actualy, spirituality is very nice and soothing, etc...........but science fiction at large and science programs and movies such as Star Trek provide tons of hope to millions of people. They have faith in other things............and still haven't seen any sort of god (or God) out there.

Science is what we see and touch. Unfortunately, science does not give me the hope l need to fight against death, and the end of life. Faith in Christ, His miracles, and His defeat to death, l mean resurrection, can give me great hope, and comfort. Moreover, history itself wrote about the coming of Christ.

Glad you have your Faith. May I note that different religions (and philosophies such as buddhism) have different gods and different faiths, possibly leading to a sort of heaven pretty much like your, nice and near. Faith and hope. You choose that. i choose to believe that whoever the Idiot was (Man or Woman) who created Man really had his head up his ass. Or maybe He or She was drunk or high on drugs at the time................

I always thought of Moses as an astrophysicist of his time trying to explain the evolution of creation by using days instead of billions of years. The story of Noah always intrigued me, whether metaphorical or historical, in the cleansing of the world as it seems history is repeats itself over and over again with war, floods, famine and disease.

Exactly. I like the idea of cleansing...........like Mother Nature does on occasion. PS: The fascinating bit about the Ark in the US Mid West is that they aere true creationists. Unbelievable in this day and age. Regards, Robert.
