Essence departed
an orphan I have become
grief-filled emotion
alone, I have come undone
… in passing of your spirit

Anguish shall not fade
vulnerable in your death
memories survive
yet in shadows, I’m bereft
… in my sleep, there is no rest

Thank you JB. Many tears and and much sadness but yes writing has always been a means to help me process my grief. I am grateful for the outlet. It must come out to move through. Otherwise the pain becomes stagnate and consuming. Bless you JB for your support. x
