Fragmented Death Waits
I wandering through
shapeless dreams,
thirsting for the
fountain, to drink
of it's pervervid
moisture.
Only to cleave to
the nocuous rush
within.
Eyes turn down in
the wake of despair,
a need to escape
rage, devours me,
Lost in the realm of
what could have been
around me darkness
lingers still unfinished.
In silence I tear
through melancholy thoughts where soot
coats my tongue
Inching closer to
that wooded space
between our lives
where the days
once lined in gold
transform into
fragmented
death .
The air turns black
as I hear your name
whispered, from
the heart of
the trees.
