Kindred Souls

Fair damsel of my heart,
to see you trapped
inside that house
(which you desire so)

I am here
to rescue you,
set you free from
your self inflicted chains

My sword
to protect you
and service as necessary
for your wants and hungers

To champion
all your deepest secrets,
to share them
and keep you safe

To take you away
from your simple wants
and embrace you
in your soul’s
innermost endearments

We have been
Kindred Souls
through the ages,
take my hand
and
travel at my side
