A muse like no other

I never know, where inspiration will rear her pretty head, sitting the wheelchair or whilst laying on my bed

A simple thought a picture, starts a poem in my brain, a sound track off an album will start that poem train

Cloudless skies on a Summers day, a storm that's full of rain, a reminder of your lovely muse, will make you write again

She's always in the back ground, she smiles within your head, she speaks to you with unspoken words, without her words are dead

Pictures invoke poetry, you see stanzas in her face, lines of pure desire, simply fall right into place

Like Sunlight on this Green Gods earth, she gives you strength to grow, you do your best to repay her, in poetry you show

No matter what the distance, you feel her in your soul, you try your best to pay her homage, this is the poets goal

Just to know your muse is smiling, to know she loves your lines, gives a poet sustenance to write another rhyme

So your muse can take many forms, a friend, acquaintance, lover, but she'll bring out the best in you, an inspiration like no other
