One-way Love for a Life(tyme)

 
once
my'love & I ) came to meet
                                where the trip of dotterel
                   fly and wild squeek and walk the
          sanded earth
       (near sea),
with no consciousness'self as
   would do a'like human'fool do.

My'love          was never there. Been so
            far/long ago.

Has time done this to us?
          Made you so much forget me?
Made me so much to love you, despite
          1/2 century passing.

Or perhaps it's not a thing to do with
                           time......perhaps not even
                 to do with
                           love.
