Ice
Your heart cold as ice
Why do I have to pay the price?
Your words slice through me
Everyday it’s a roll of the dice,
“Will he be nasty or nice”
It used to be paradise,
But I’m starting to think twice.
My heart and soul is the sacrifice.
All that I’d do, you criticize
All your flaws, I minimize
But wait, pause...
What will you do when I remove your claws?
I’m starting to see your love is a lost cause.
Sick of waiting for your heart to thaw.
I thought you were a rose, But you’re just a prick, A fucking lunatic
I hold the key to me and I’m setting myself free
Before toxic love burns me to the worst degree
Why do I have to pay the price?
Your words slice through me
Everyday it’s a roll of the dice,
“Will he be nasty or nice”
It used to be paradise,
But I’m starting to think twice.
My heart and soul is the sacrifice.
