Embracing the Dreams
The frantic feeble voice
echoes in my heart,
Wrenching pain grows
till it didn't hurt
anymore, but I wonder
Did it ever really stop?
Because, I still can see
the broken pieces,
The marks of your kisses..
Just gonna pretend,
It never happened.
But what about those echoes,
that reverberates through
my body, soul
Wrecking havoc, creating chaos!
Time flies by
Only to return
with the deja vu
of a moment of unconcern.
Before the memories die
an untimely death,
Just gonna lie
to myself that
Love doesn't hurt.
While the crazy emotions
F*cking mock me,
like thousand mockingbirds
fighting for a piece of me!
Why people leave without
even saying goodbye?
Leaving behind a lot
of memories that come by
every now and then.
Like dark clouds
ready for an ominous
embrace!
The vision of future is
brighter than the shadows
of those moments,
luring me towards
the meadows
of hope and a new beginning
as the mockingbird
started singing
the song of a new dream!
echoes in my heart,
Wrenching pain grows
till it didn't hurt
anymore, but I wonder
Did it ever really stop?
Because, I still can see
the broken pieces,
The marks of your kisses..
Just gonna pretend,
It never happened.
But what about those echoes,
that reverberates through
my body, soul
Wrecking havoc, creating chaos!
Time flies by
