Death Bed

As I rest on this bed with the angel of death,
I am feeling quite numb with my long gone wrath,
The thrills that you gave me when we first met,
I recall that all, are my eyes already wet?

Come closer, let me whisper in your fair ears one last time,
We did make it even when the time wasn’t prime,
We set every eye rolling on us with the fire burning in our souls,
The way we checked every box as we conquered our goals.

Till date, I haven’t met anyone so beautiful and starling!
Remember those fights which kept us awake late nights?
I dint have any grudge, I was just craving to have you in my arms real tight!

With everything dull around here

I groan in despair, as I won’t be able to sniff that smell,

Now I wonder,with all of my wrath, what did I gain?

Forgive me for every tear you rolled in these years,
But I was always proud to be addressing myself as " I’m HERS",

You were there when sky was dull and the sun wasn’t bright.
