The Beast of Torment
You're the one who saw my end, my angel.
How could one last look be so comical?
I know how my mind can be unstable,
But now, what comes next is unstoppable.
I am begging you, please let me forget,
As my hope plunges into the abyss.
My mind begins to swim with its regret,
While the beast of torment begins to hiss.
It prowls, miring this claustrophobic world,
As you relay to me your final word.
It shrieked like Satan with each word it hurled.
It broke my mind completely undeterred.
Now I am a vision of its hatred.
With retrospect, I could see my demise.
It showed my doom was always stated,
When I was entranced by those deep blue eyes.
How could one last look be so comical?
I know how my mind can be unstable,
But now, what comes next is unstoppable.
I am begging you, please let me forget,
As my hope plunges into the abyss.
My mind begins to swim with its regret,
While the beast of torment begins to hiss.

As you relay to me your final word.

Now I am a vision of its hatred.
With retrospect, I could see my demise.
