Aged Cabernet

Aged Cabernet

Stroking out the lyre
Consorted with desire
Stoking the fire with lying lips.

Evening trees eventually retire
The situation’s dire
Slowing the river to mire
Of passed down hips

Sand funneling victim to the wire
Disguise soon to expire
Shiny Eureka hearts for hire drown her glory to sunken ships.
