Last night you fell asleep as we were speaking
The tears upon your face you had been weeping
And I saw what it was to be in love.
Last night you fell asleep and I fell to pieces
The tears upon my face I had concealed it
And I saw what it was to be in love.
Last night you fell asleep as you were drinking
The bottled up pain became some deep thinking
And I saw what it was to be in love.
Tonight we'll fall asleep as we are speaking
And all I'll think about is you may be leaving
And it'll suck
Because I'll see what it means to be with the one I love.
