Soliloquy of a Daemon

To gaze into the chasms of a being so impotent
What fools we were to have such dreams
The beauty behind the brimstones
Overlay the impurity behind our souls
A trillion cherubs falling
A trillion spires impaling
What fools we were to have such dreams
Ripping through
The transmigrating flesh of apes
We Look in despair At the human Maze
And we spit in the face if God
Son of Adam you have ventured into a
Realm beyond the circle of life
Away from the light of god
Your actions from here on out
Will no longer be judged upon
Your free will but on the level
Of your intelligence.
