emphatic
ive been passive
for so long
grounded in
your siren song
controlling myself to suit your need
you'd grip my wrist
and watch me bleed
i know you feel
the pain the same
but your tongue is tied
a loss, a refrain
collective torture
we've attached ourselves
in divinity lies
the ideas of the wealth
the earth in your tone
the dirt in your eyes
blazing this fire
for fear of goodbye
where are you now
with your pedestal tall
how do you feel
when you break down your wall
we used to be different
two minds intertwined
now the bridges are burning
our fate undefined
standing still in our judgement
awaiting decisions
it would seem that we both
are fond of this prison
the air is so full
it whispers and breathes
swirling around me
yet i cant percieve
your garden is growing
the berries are sweet
dividing the insects
amongst overgrown trees
for so long
grounded in
your siren song
controlling myself to suit your need
you'd grip my wrist
and watch me bleed
i know you feel
the pain the same
but your tongue is tied
a loss, a refrain
collective torture
we've attached ourselves
in divinity lies
the ideas of the wealth

the dirt in your eyes
blazing this fire
for fear of goodbye
