We can’t seem to make it straight,
this didn’t come out the wazoo.
As those born to a silver plate give us the twenty-two.

Injustice will not perpetuate,
we hope this to be true.
Equality is to hydrate a societal breakthrough.

We stay at home and delegate,
what the hurt should then do.
Yet we fail to appreciate the hurting’s point of view.

Born to a hateful state,
their laws are déjà vu.
Skin and wallet to motivate how the blue interview.

Maybe if you were to nominate,
a life within their shoes.
You’ll find your speech a duplicate of “Justice is overdue”.

Author's Note
Just my small thoughts about the issues in Amarica. For those foreign to the UK, twenty-two is wagging your index and middle finger at someone, it's a way of saying 'piss off'
