"Heart on my sleeve"
Kindness comes so easy to me,
I lend my heart out to those in need.
I know I shouldn't but I wear my heart on my sleeve,
When I get my heart back broken pieces are all that I recieve.
All I've ever wanted is to spread kindness and love,
Everytime all I get is taken advantage of.
I guess in a way you could say that I set myself up for heart ache,
Leaving myself open for anyone to take.

So perfectly and eloquently posted. I relate so much. I feel your pain. I walk this same path. But you know what, I wouldn’t change it. I wouldn’t want to be any other way.

I couldn't agree more Lazy_Dead. Despite all the pain I've been put through, being kind and compassionate throughout it all is one thing I'd never undo! <3
