Unearthing

Writing is a kind of meditation where you really unearth the 'real'  you...we are in an illusion that we know ourselves... But we really discover that through self introspection and writing is one of the ways we unconsciously engage in self introspection or assessment

Thank you so much. I very much appreciate your thoughts on this piece.  Your view  made me rethink and I have edited the line 'who has been hiding'  to 'who lay hidden'... implying that it was there but we couldn't see it... Anyway,  ultimately we did discover it. Thanks to poetry 🙏😊
