Starting into your writes and the pace is impacting in a way that you don't often see. I could see this spit in a poetry slam and doing really well. Reading it over, looking at the title, I feel like it's about how driven we are to connect and achieve.
The essence of economy, as I understand it, is to say as much as possible with your words. I'd say you really hit the mark in this regard. I'm always looking to Spotlight something different than I have done before. Did my first erotic with Rachel Lauren, for example. I think it'll be really cool to explore your work for the podcast. Sometimes I have trouble with a Spotlight if I feel like there aren't an abundance of metaphors for me to speculate on and unravel, but I don't think that'll be an issue. You're covering a lot of ground in this particular piece for example.
The impression that hits me is when you look at a city at night from above, with the cars rushing, lights in the windows of buildings and how much it resembles a circuit board. In this modern age, an incisive way of viewing the arena of the psychosocial is to compare our interactions, which are biochemical and bioelectrical, neurons firing across synapses, to the action of circuitry. Action, reaction, interaction. Intuition. Adaptation.
I dig how you closed it. Connection does absolutely transform suppression. I've been reading this book The Power of Intention by Dr Wayne Dyer. He says that we manifest the path by first imagining the goal. That seems in alignment with the statement, The Answer Becomes Invention With Intention. I try to align myself to intentionality each day, as I meditate. Things like, I intend to connect fully with Spirit. I intend to communicate with others clearly, through sincerity and kindness. And then personal goals, like success, romance etc.
I'll read on a while before I close down for the night, but I might choose to Spotlight right here. Hopefully making a decent connection with it, at least in what I am projecting into my interpretation, you know.
