It’s getting me down
Insomnia kicks in
Clock ticks on insanely
No noise
Except my heart beating
Yes I am alive
Existence dragged by seconds
Want someone to shove
Just for human connection
Loneliness breeds darkness
Time drips onwards
Ever so slowly
Creeping shadows dancing
Untouchable dark companions
Keep haunting
