Mirror, Mirror, On the Wall, Who's the ugliest of them all?

I am the thing you fear most.
I show you what you truly are.
I show every imperfection and highlight them.
I don’t sugar coat things.
I show you every single part of yourself.
The good, the bad and the ugly —
Everything that you hate or dislike,
becomes the first thing you see
when staring into my glassy reflection.
All the raw emotion is no longer hidden.
Even your inner thoughts seem to sprawl out
across my surface like grim reminders,
reminders that let you know that you’re not worth it.
It may make you see me as a monster.
The reflection of a person you never wanted to be,
stares right back at you.
No one had ever lived through a whole life
without being hurt or broke.
I will give you a list of things to change and
I may show you the things about yourself that make you different.
I will never let you think that you don’t have purpose,
because everyone has a purpose, even the broken.
You may be broken, but you aren't ugly, aren't unlovable.
