Image for the poem the unbecoming

the unbecoming

I climb perpetuities ladder
in my sincere search for wisdom
little circular rings of knowing
while inside me turn truths

so tightly wound to my mortal coil
I am slowly unbecoming...
less a deity, now a woman

in the infinite, I spin
on the copper palm of the eternal
with knowledge of a seer

I blasphemed the source
innocence ever a guide and a ward
led the way through adversities lot

bent riddled lies in arrogance gloried
my folly known and celebrated
a dark star rose in my heavens
I praised his heresy

I twist the blade in ethereal lunacy
an antagonist of theological debauchery
my mind swam with idiosyncracies

I coveted the way and swear against her
my harlotry idolized
the nameless shall be named

whore
