Running on a Flat Tire

The spills came and easily
often I’d wake with them
intact whole ready for the
parchment and post.

A feeling (later i concur)
strong writes or relatable
humorous……..worthy
of rereads & recall.

But slowly and surely
my brain began to wane
as if I lost something
inch by inch
centimeter by centimeter
Pounds per Square Inch per Pounds per Square Inch*

running on empty is how it feels
although, in reality, i no longer run
unless a Javelina** is chasing me
even then it’s a controlled Fast-Walk.

This feel is different from
Writer’s Block, yet not dissimilar.
Must be a zen thing
more meditation and less
overthinking is the ticket
to (some/no)where!?

& so
i’ll use some
Plumber’s Solder
for a temporary fix
on my leaky faucet.
