Moonless Night (String of Haiku)
The sky looks lonesome
Without the light of the moon
To brighten its hue
Twinkling little stars
Are out, lambently lighting
The midnight blue sky
The night is lonely
Silence envelopes the air
Another day gone
Days are moving fast
Steadily marching forward
Following their course
The moon will show up
When it is her time to glow
With the rising tides
Life is like the moon
It flows with the tides of time
That constantly change

There's a really meditative quality to the haiku strung together, and a lovely feeling of stillness that comes from this poem.
