insidious
the wire stretched taught
spoke dark tidings on the air
restless spirits drew nigh to mine chair
crimson of doubt tarry a while
while a tale is spun in thine listening ears
truth-telling time sister of the keep
swirl the mists and look inside
insidious nature true
but deeper still a brother in bond
angels weep for the cyanide smiles of the dragon
on the winds tonight is his sullen mood
he comes for blood company
the heavenly choir is missing a voice
will you rejoice without me?
two and fro through the Earth I seek distractions
lonely is the night who brought me to you
entertain me please lass over midnights
I morn for your plight dear one
you seek me to the point of insanity
your voice rings louder than that of humanity
but don't forget I am but a mere mortal
eternity is ever before me
will I be in good steads?
would you be that I be fitted for destruction?
plummeting headlong into my demise for the last time
brotherly love lives forever
a vow I make in my heart
I will never forget you
