Cloudy day
The rain falls on a cloudy day
The sun hides behind the cloud
Happiness turns into dismay
You become lost within the crowd
Alone, you travel far
Never known, a forgotten man
Just another dying star
No idea or even a plan
You hope for a sign
But nothing is ever shown
Lost within your mind
Forever and truly alone
No light will ever shine
No path will ever be seen
No answer for you to find
No way to achieve your dream
Tossed aside and left behind
Never knowing what you could do
Just another point on the dotted line
Love and affection you never knew
Eyes wide open, but you can't see
Heart broken beyond belief
Soul never completely free
Life filled with endless grief
Sadness and misery is all you know
Darkness is all that's there
Always fast and never slow
Ripped in two beyond repair
Light is gone and never found
Darkness comes from down below
Two sides to which you're bound
Light or darkness, which will glow

May i say, as your elder, this is the way it has to be. Growth is not possible without correction. Mine started at a very young age. Daddy left, no idea why. Although i do not remember, i got to say it put me under to this day. Saw him one more time in my 20's for a few minutes only.
Anyway, what you seek is far from reach. It is high and lofty, but attainable. Listen to that still small voice and what it tells you. Those inclinations we most often ignore.
Listen to your mate. Never ignore, don't smother, but plant kisses and show your mate you care. Learn their ways, their wants and practice everyday. Be a servant to their lust to their love.
In my opinion, all who go before, as painful as it can be, are profound stepping stones on our journey of finding our inner being.
Yes, we can find it I'm sure on our own, but most of us need a mirror to see ourselves. The mirror reflects back to us the things we cannot see.

One more thing, censure is poison. Be you, be who you are at any given moment and don't give up. Dwell in the dark, but lift yourself up.
