To bear the weight of the world upon my soft shoulders
Heavily laden with, contention, strife
Singular footsteps in life’s wayward journey
To deliver and receive unto the higher power of divinity
The assurance of my spiritual anointing
To lessen the burdens of time

There is a burden we are carrying on a universal scale
It may have been amplified to a large extent at present
Many of us being compelled, impelled and even pushed to look up to the Higher Power
To indeed "lessen" this burdensome existence
Human beings are communal by nature
Such burdens are not meant to be endured alone
As strong as each one of us are with resilience and fortitude
But supporting each other in humane ways
Changes how people feel when they have someone with a human touch reaching out to them
It could even be called the powerful healing woman's touch
It may have been amplified to a large extent at present

That is an intellectual analogy you have concluded in interpreting carrying one’s burden, however, there are some burdens, through no fault of our own we choose to adopt, not so much as the gratitude in doing so we receive, but in generalization, of self-reliance, self-sacrifice, and self-discipline, thank you for reading, sir.
