An Ode to my pops

Another day flys away yet I hoped it would stay an play, so fast it went I'm living life tryin to leave a dent, stand out Fuck the norm I said when I was born till the day I die my goals to hit the sky

Walking the path of the unknown
Feelin week in the bones, weary an tired from walking I am, standing alone nearing the stone,
ain't suicidal but I can do without the sour days back up an give me some space

I overstate the sourness of the day to day but what else can I say when thats my daily day, nah it ain't all bad mad days I'm glad to be chillen reminiscin being still tryin to listen to what the pops has to say bout his own days so many of his words flow out yet just hit the unknown not reachin my dome

It might be time to be still an really listen before his hour comes to be an all I have is the reminiscin, kicking knowledge like a book out the door he shook my hand what a man, "keep at it be the best u can be I want to see u do better than me "

Mad love for the man that showed me the plan, I strayed nah I had to  differentiate ur dream to what I felt I needed to be still u look after me posted like a rock to hold me steady when im Feelin shaky

Hard as rock,trying to block people not knowing what to think when I would see u dealing with these fools in life now I know where I get it from an know why I  keep em at a distance, people so fictitious becoming colder everyday tired of dealing with the lies they say

Realer than facts always keepin me on the track to success wishing me the best, ill keep on walking cuz I'm pretty much done with talkin Ima make it I know for a fact those word will stay intact till day I die not much is gonna change my mind, at the top one day will be lookin down laughing at these clowns, but for now gotta keep at it, find a path even when I feel stranded.
