An Insomniac's Dream
Dreaming of the day when I can get a straight eight
A peaceful night's sleep without episodes of wake
Without having to take an aid to relay to my mind
That past a certain hour it's night night time
No longer prime time when the mind is fully conscious
But time for a sleep number slumber on a mattress
Instead of going bat shit crazy from sleep deprivation
Awakening refresh and ready to take on a nation

I know that struggle well... I'm not sure if it would work for you, but ASMR videos work well for me. There is also a sleep app that is supposed to help you relax and get ready to go to sleep.
I don't have insomnia, but I don't sleep well, and I have trouble getting to sleep... so I find ways to help the issue :)

Thank you for the feedback, R.L. add, and recommendations. I appreciate it. I have a very active mind that, at times, is hard to cut off or mute. I know that there are many who can relate to this so I decided to write about it.
