Yes, I also think it can be liberating to accept death. Not in a suicidal way, more as a helper. I am influenced by Carlos Castaneda. Even if the stories were just made up, I still like the idea of stalking death and make it into an ally. Hard to explain. Maybe you know what I mean.

I'm not the greatest fan of Castaneda but I know what you mean. Every so often I go through a mini-crisis of having to face and accept my mortality. A reduction in fear is always a good outcome.
