World Eaters
Hopes and dreams
The trespass of simpler things
Everything is now excess
Pulled farther apart
Catatonic at the root
But so real is this death letter
Blistering in it's rhythm
Alive and forming
Edible stars, world eaters
Treading property
This moon dust silicone ring
Sunken and weathered
A soul squeezed
Newborn thresher
A far cry from natural law
Slip the noose and go no further
Lawless oppressors
Hunger for any and all
A canvas of black
With nothing looking back
Drifting among fabrics
Pulled in a hole
But even here
Among endless coils
Does mortal woes give birth
To an everlasting truth
We are world eaters
The trespass of simpler things
Everything is now excess
Pulled farther apart
Catatonic at the root
But so real is this death letter
Blistering in it's rhythm
Alive and forming
Edible stars, world eaters
Treading property
This moon dust silicone ring
Sunken and weathered
A soul squeezed
Newborn thresher
A far cry from natural law
Slip the noose and go no further
Lawless oppressors
Hunger for any and all
A canvas of black
With nothing looking back
Drifting among fabrics
Pulled in a hole
But even here
Among endless coils
Does mortal woes give birth
To an everlasting truth
We are world eaters
