Letters from the gulag homeichapelago

It was good seeing Bobby friday
even if at the required 6ft social distance

We laughed
shared a joke about times, day by day forgotten
Reminiscing of the bbqs we used to share in the park. Deceased now of family, music laughter

Bobby mentioned the sisters are defying orders and remaining open, so as to still provide food and basic needs for the vulnerable. How so many of us fall into that category now.
I remarked on those doing the same thing here. Both of us agreeing how wonderful humanity's defiance during this is.

We both wish fond farewells to the other
As a cold metallic voice signals our alloted hour of yard time is up.

Love you brother
safe journey back to your four walled cell we used to call home, now isolated confinement.
