"Winter Spring"

White gloss, shards of glass as sparkling eyes watch snow that melts faster than her heart can break.
Breath catches like kites in the air around pale skin as trees swing to and fro in the distance.
Shades of fire blue hair float like strings around her face as she smiles and catches the flakes of snow on her tongue.
Birds push off of bare branches that cast black shadows across the grey sky that's light lessens her pupils.
White ice crunches under ivy boots, thin legs like bark of the black trees that sleep until the spring.
Water trickles down a pile of rocks off on the small pond, frost against the proper frame of sturdy bones.
Slim fingers fondle around a grey wool scarf as she walks down a mind made path of serenity and calm air.

"There's something about Winter that makes me hate Spring."
