receding coastlines
rising hopes
we stand in the sun
together
drinking a Corona
nothing can taint us now
we believe the opposite exist
nothing but triumph surrounds us
we cannot back down but for so long
when the time comes we will
turn this chaos around
hope is a good thing
maybe the best of things
as the sun circles our planet
we take to flatten it
make it our own
marry me in this bliss

we have come to the realization that God is gone
