"Coming QUICKLY" - What Does It MEAN ??!!

Christ says, "I am coming quickly"(Revelation 3.11; 22.7,12, 20).
The words "coming quickly" obviously arent operative right now.
For its been 2000 years, and Christ hasn't come yet.
 But they DO become operative as soon as th TRIB begins.
Now, if Christ comes just 5 months after Russia bombs America (and overruns Europe like Dan 7.8 suggests) -
 well then "I am coming quickly" is LITERALLY true !!
 For 5 months is truly a very short time !!
Whereas if Christ comes 7 years after the TRIB begins (with Russian Attack on the USA),
well THAT is NOT "coming quickly" AT ALL !!
Why in the world would anybody cling to 7 year TRIB when the evidence is AGAINST it,
 and "5 months" is explicitly given to us in Rev. 9.5,10 as an alternative !!
 Just because we are supposed to "take every thought captive" for Christ that doesnt mean we are to give ourselves a lobotomy -
which is descriptive of the idiocy of defending a ridiculously LONG 7 years TRIB !!
